We’re proud to announce that Australian, Kim Palmer will join the team as assistant sports director in 2019.
From 2013-2017 Palmer was the High-Performance Director of Cycling for Queensland Academy of Sport and most recently was the assistant sports director for Wiggle High5 in 2018, bringing a wealth of experience to our team having worked in women’s cycling for such a long period.
A qualified coach for over 20 years and a former rider herself, representing Australia in three different disciplines: Road Cycling - at several World Cycling Road World Cups and Grand Tours /Championships, Mountain Biking – at the World Cycling Mountain Bike Championships, and Triathlon - at the Hawaii Ironman.
“I am really looking forward to joining the WNT ROTOR Professional Women’s Cycling Team for the 2019 season as Assistant DS. Having a team of so many talented and dynamic athletes will lead to many opportunities and options on race day. We have a good mix of experienced and developing riders and I hope to be able to help bring out the best in each of them.”
Palmer added “Moreover, having the privilege of working with such a professional organisation that has values with a long-term vision for Women’s Cycling really excites me. My aim is to continue to achieve the best possible results for both the riders and team while promoting a positive team culture and supportive environment.”
